The osteopath will discuss the most appropriate treatment plan with you, aiming to keep appointments to a minimum.

Treatment plans may also be adjusted (more or less) if your response to treatment changes.

If your condition does not respond to Osteopathic treatment, you will be advised on other treatment options or referred on for further investigation.

What are the side effects of Osteopathic treatment?

Osteopathic treatment techniques can vary from being very gentle to causing mild discomfort.

  • During treatment

You will be informed during each treatment what to expect from certain techniques and have the option to opt for an alternative method.

  • After treatment

You may feel tired or some tenderness for a day or two. This is often a normal healthy response to treatment.

However if the discomfort persists or feels excessive please inform Jaimini as soon as possible so that you can be advised accordingly.

What should I wear to an OSTEOPATHIC appointment?

It is important you feel comfortable during the treatment process. You maybe asked to undress to your underwear. This is to enable proper assessment of your posture, movement, muscle tone and skin health and perform any clinical tests to aid diagnosis.

Shorts / leggings and a vest top are ideal and there is plenty of time should you want to change.
